Custom configured for the forensic investigator.  Based on the CA-DOJ configuration and “Best Practices” in computer forensics.  Reliability, ease of use and flexibility are the main focus of this unit for our customers. The latest components & technology are applied throughout this unit.  SiForce One gives the investigator the ability to acquire and image data from digital media, save forensically sound images and examine those images on one machine.

Write Protected Devices

A “Hot-Swappable”, write protected, hard drive enclosure provides the investigator the ability to acquire digital images from several source hard drives without the need for down time to swap drives.  The destination drive bay is also “Hot-Swappable” to enable the investigator to use several drives for larger images.  Again without the need to shut the system down.

Today, all electronic devices (cameras, phones, PDAs, etc.) come with small media cards.  This system anticipates the need to image these media cards.  The Write Protected Digital Media Card Reader, it will provide the convenience of acquiring digital images from Multimedia Cards, Secure Digital Cards, Smart Media, Compact Flash, Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro.

Flexibility

Additional trays are supplied to accommodate either IDE drives, SATA drives or laptop drives.  The system comes with two optical media devices, Dual Layer DVD +/- RW and a DVD ROM.  Though becoming rare, investigators may still need to use/access floppy discs.  Not to worry.  This system has thought of that, too.  Years of providing components to DOJ computer forensic training and supplying to law enforcement agencies have brought us to this system.  We believe we have created the all-in-one system for the serious computer forensic investigator.  But, we know we can’t meet everyone’s custom desires at once.  We even thought of that in designing this system.  USB and Firewire connection spots on the front panel as well as at the rear of the system provide for all of your special add-on external devices.
